Yuasa Tamari is a special Koikuchi (dark) type, brewed slowly and carefully in 150-year-old cedar barrels. This process takes more than a year. After pressing, the soy sauce is cooked and reduced for half a day with open fire. Bottled in Tokkuri ceramics. The soy sauce has a complex aromas of caramel and vanilla with intense umami taste. For marinades, as finishing sauces, meat and vegetable.

Founded 1841 in the birthplace of soy sauce “Yuasa", in Wakayama prefecture, by the Kano family.
Using a traditional recipe since the foundation, higher soybeans share (6: 4= soybeans: wheat) and only Japanese ingredients (soybeans, wheat). After pressing, the soy sauce is cooked and reduced for half a day in traditional cauldrons with open fires using local pine wood.
